This Privacy Policy explains how EverydayChecked ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you fill out our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to read and reply to your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you visit. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies. We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and analytics cookies are off by default (see "Analytics" below). Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser as a small entry named ec_consent_v1; it identifies no one and is never sent to us or anyone else. Retailers we link to (such as Amazon) may set cookies on their own sites after you click through; see "Affiliate links" below. You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

EverydayChecked takes part in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer may set a cookie so we can be credited for the referral, at no extra cost to you. For more detail, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

Advertising

We do not show ads on this Site, and we never will. There are no ad networks here, no ad cookies, and no ad tracking. The Site is supported by affiliate commissions instead, as described above.

Spam protection

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. It helps us confirm that submissions come from real people rather than bots.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site, each with its own privacy policy:

• Amazon Associates for affiliate links,
• Cloudflare for hosting, security, spam protection, and contact-form email delivery,
• Google Analytics for opt-in visitor statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

Data retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
