About EverydayChecked
EverydayChecked is an independent review site for the ordinary stuff that doesn't come with a manual worth reading: the kitchen gadgets, the desk lamps, the little upgrades that quietly make life easier. We buy them, use them, and tell you which ones are actually worth your money.
Why we started this
There's no shortage of "best of" lists online. The trouble is how many are written by people who never touched the product, stitched together from spec sheets, press releases, and whatever happens to rank that week. We wanted the opposite: a place where every pick has actually been used, judged honestly, and explained in plain language.
EverydayChecked is small and independent on purpose. That lets us take our time, say when something's only okay, and answer the one question you actually came here with: is this thing any good, and should you buy it?
How we test
Our process isn't complicated, but we hold to it on every review:
- We buy our own gear. No freebies with strings attached. We pay retail like everyone else, so there's nothing to soften our opinion.
- We live with it. Every recommendation comes from real, day-to-day use, not an afternoon skim of a spec sheet.
- Brands can't buy a spot. There's no sponsored ranking and no “pay to be #1.” The best product wins, full stop.
- We keep it current. Models get discontinued and prices move. We revisit our picks so the advice still holds up.
How we make money
EverydayChecked is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn a small affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you. It's what keeps the lights on and the reviews free. It never buys a better score: our verdicts are written before we add a single link, and no amount of commission moves a product up the list.
